Waterford Panto Society is gearing up for an unforgettable celebration as we return to the fairy-tale world of Cinderella to mark our 40th Anniversary production! First staged in 1987, Cinderella has become the most loved and performed panto in our long-standing tradition, and this year, we’re bringing it back for our seventh time—making it a truly special occasion in our history.

Since that very first production in the 1980s, Pantomime has captured the hearts of Waterford families, becoming an integral part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations. It’s hard to imagine the festive season in the city without the sparkle and laughter of our panto! Our past productions in 1987, 1995, 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2018 have each been met with standing ovations, and now, in 2025, we’re thrilled to bring Cinderella for what promises to be a magnificent celebration of our 40 years.
